Gerry Lopez materializing from a nuclear blast of Pipeline spit, dropping his hands to his slender ninja waist, bowing his head three-quarters of an inch and holding the pose while he glides halfway to Rocky Point? That's a good claim. Trying to fist-pump a low-altitude 6.2 aerial up to a 6.5 (and yes Andriano de Souza springs to mind first, but let the finger of blame move freely up and down the entire WCT roster, male and female) at some crap beachbreak event? Bad claim.

Let us always, on principle, defend the claim. Freedom of expression, people. 

And let us always, on principle, mock and heckle those who abuse this right.
